Solar

Since 2013, Nate Smith has been designing, installing, and maintaining solar systems in the western US. Starting in California, he learned by installing over 600 grid-tied systems (roughly 10,000 solar panels).  In 2018 he moved his family to Idaho and continued to further his electrical and solar knowledge, while attending an electrical apprenticeship. When he received his Journeyman License in 2022, he continued pursuing his passion for solar and worked at managing/installing solar projects in multiple states including ID, UT, CO, CA, TX and WI.  He is not a fan of the traditional "solar salesperson" and started Smith Solar & Electric in 2024 to bring an honest and transparent solution for customers looking for solar options.
